Who are we talking about?

My name is Bart Dorlandt. I was born in 1982 in Hilversum but moved to Eemnes at the age of 2. Since May 2006 I have moved to Utrecht and with great pleasure I might add. At this page you'll find some information about me. The studies I did, the work I do and the things I like to do.

Study & Work

After finishing havo at Alberdingk Thijm College (ATC) (1994 - 1999) I studied at the Hogeschool Utrecht (1999 - 2004). I studied Communication Technology for four and a half years. After my last period at the Hogeschool Utrecht working on a IP telephony project (Final Report IP telephony), I kept working there for about 7 months as network operator for the global network and for the IP telephony project.

After this I started a new study System and Networkengineering at the University of Amsterdam. This was to be done in one year. I finished this on the 6th of june 2005. Finding a job was the next step. This process is quite hard, to be a young kid with an academic background. You really have to look into details of the pile of jobs running into you.

Finally I picked NiVo. NiVo is a an ICT consulting company. I work here since 19 september 2005, the beginning of a long period with hard work.

On the 30th of september we had our degree graduation. My colleague Erik Vollers recorded it. Together with the text it can be found at the degree graduation page. Sport

I used to be a fanatic skater. Now I'm much more into capoeira. I'm doing this in Hilversum with my teacher Quase profesor Urso who is a student of Mestre Valu from Grupo Balança. I created the site for capoeira in Hilversum.
