In the directory /etc you'll find the file changelist. This file is used to keep track of changes on files. In this changelist-file you'll see a list of files which are being monitored. Also files listed here are being backupped, or at least diffs, which is also very nice.

Deleted:

  • /etc/hosts.deny because of this program Denyhosts

Added:

  • /var/www/conf/php.ini
  • /etc/newsyslog.apache.conf (see newSyslog_for_Apache)
  • /var/www/conf/vhosts.conf
  • /etc/postfix/main.cf
