| Wicd instead of network manager |

I had some troubles when I used network-manager. Especially with hibernates... So I heard about Wicd. I gave it a try and unfortunately had some problems with it. I saw that a newer version was available outside of the debian repository. This solved all of the problems I had and also works with hibernation. So I say, give it a try. It has also more features than network-manager. Good luck |
