To get vmware workstation 6 working again after upgrading to Hardy Heron (8.0.4) you have to execute a little patch. Download this patch and extract it. After this run the file runme.pl and follow its steps. Afterwards execute vmware-config.pl and all should work fine. Don't forget to download your kernel headers (linux-headers-generic), and to update your symlink in /usr/src |
