Always wanted to secure your USB stick or any other device. Or just wanted to secure some files inside a container. Truecrypt is the solution for you. You can use this peace of software on your Mac, Linux or even windows ;)

Just go to the truecrypt site and install the tool. In the windows editon you can create a so called travelersdisk. With this disk you can put your stick in and it will run automatically. (if you have administrative rights on that machine)

On linux you just need to have the tool installed.

If you want to have truecrypt in your apt sources, follow these steps:

deb http://www.awxcnx.de/apt etch main

The repository is signed with the Key 0x12BD5A35 .
Fingerprint of the key is: D0C3 A4E6 D94F 854A 88D2 C520 DE31 C212 12BD 5A35

Download the key and add it to your apt-keyring by:
sudo apt-key add 0x12BD5A35.asc

this information comes from wabbel.
