Work experience:


NiVo network architects Sept 2005 - present

Via NiVo I've been assigned to other companies as a contractor. I've been working for companies like, XB, KPN, Verizon Business with different roles like network adminstrator, engineer and consultant. While working I build up experience on networks with: EIGRP, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, encryption, tunnels, VLANs, WLANs, ATM, IP and traditional telephony. I also ran into devices like firewalls and proxies. I've been using systems with OSes like: Unix(BSD), Linux(debian based), Windows.

Beside these projects I have given some trainings: "Certified Network Manager", "Wireless LAN" and "Firewall".



Hogeschool Utrecht Sept 2004 - July 2005

During this time I studied at the University of Amsterdam and kept teaching CCNA in the evening. Besides the teaching I kept assisting the projects and even set-up an IP telephony project.



Hogeschool Utrecht Feb 2004 - Sept 2004

After working on the project to graduate, on IP telephony, I kept working for IT support on the same project and being a network administrator (data and telephony). At the same time (two days a week) I teached CCNA and helped students on their network related projects.
